Is it ok if I eat bananas everyday? A friend of mine said that bananas have lots of potassium and it is not recommended to consume them everyday. Thank you.

Banana is considered to be a completely nutrient fruit. There is no doubt eating an excess of food is always harmful to the body that we use terms over the toxicity of nutrients in the body. As for your concern about potassium intake from bananas, I want to clarify that an average adult should consume about 3500mg of potassium per day, according to the WHO. A single medium-sized banana contains the weight of 125gm and 450mg of potassium in it, resulting in a healthy person can still eat at least seven bananas more to meet up their required potassium needs.
