If you want to permanently delete your Instagram account, you can follow similar steps, but instead of selecting "Temporarily disable my account", you would select "Delete Your Account" at step 5. Keep in mind that permanently deleting your account will delete your profile, photos, videos, comments, likes, and followers and cannot be undone.

Go to you Instagram account,

1.Tap or your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile. 

2.Tap in the top right, then tap Settings. Tap Accounts Center, then tap Personal details. 

3.Tap Account ownership and control, then tap Deactivation or deletion.

The steps to disable your account are simple—go to Edit Profile and disable it by stating your reason. You can disable your account as many times as you like, allowing control over your account and privacy.

2. Tap Accounts Center, then tap Personal details.

You can take the following actions if you wish to temporarily disable your Instagram account but intend to log in again in the future:

If not already, sign in to your account.

To view your profile, click on your photo in the top right corner.

To enter the menu, click on the three horizontal lines in the top right corner.

Choose "Settings" from the menu's bottom section.

After scrolling down, select "Account."

"Temporarily disable my account" should be clicked.

From the drop-down option, select a justification for deactivating your account.

To confirm that you want to disable your account, enter your password.

If you want to disable your Instagram account temporarily or permanently, you can follow these steps:

Open the Instagram app on your device.

It's important to note that if your account has been disabled by Instagram, you will need to go through an appeal process to reactivate it.  Additionally, make sure to disconnect from any third-party services that perform actions on your account to avoid getting blocked in the future. 

Use these procedures to delete your Instagram account:

Go to the Instagram website on a PC or open the Instagram app on a mobile device.

Register with your account.

By tapping on the person icon in the lower right corner of the screen, you can access your profile page.

On your profile screen, click the three horizontal lines in the upper right corner.

A menu will show; choose "Settings" from the list.

Click "Log Out of [username]" at the foot of the page as you scroll down.

When prompted whether you want to check out, select "Yes."

Go to www.instagram.com/accounts/remove/request/permanent/ to delete your Instagram account after you've signed out of your account.

Select the justification for account deletion from the drop-down option.

Put your passcode in again in the "Password" box.

"Permanently delete my account" can be tapped or clicked.

If you want to delete your account, Instagram will prompt you to confirm your decision. To affirm, click or tap "OK."

Your Instagram account will be completely deleted once you've followed these instructions. You should download any pictures or videos you want to save before deleting your account because you won't be able to reactivate it or retrieve any of your data after doing so.
 

If you want to temporarily disable your Instagram account, follow these steps:

Click on the "Permanently delete my account" button.

Your account will be deleted permanently, and all your profile, photos, comments, and likes will be deleted as well. This action cannot be undone, so make sure you really want to delete your account before doing so.

So, if you only want to take a break from Instagram, it's recommended to disable your account instead of deleting it permanently.

Lo primero que tienes que hacer es entrar a la opción de edición de perfil. Para eso, una vez estés identificado en la web de Instagram, pulsa sobre el icono de la cabeza que tienes arriba a la derecha para entrar en tu perfil. Una vez estés en él sólo tienes que hacer click sobre la opción Editar perfil que verás al lado de tu nombre de usuario.

Cuando entres a través de la web a la página de edición de perfil, justo en la parte inferior después de la biografía y el resto de tus datos personales tienes un enlace llamado Desactivar mi cuenta temporalmente. Haz click sobre él para iniciar el proceso de desactivación.

Este proceso es sencillo, sólo tienes que elegir en una pestaña desplegable la razón por la que quieres desactivar temporalmente tu perfil e introducir por seguridad tu contraseña. Una vez hecho sólo te queda pulsar sobre el botón Inhabilitar temporalmente la cuenta. Cuando lo hagas tus fotos, comentarios y Me gusta se ocultarán hasta que decidas reactivar tu cuenta, algo que se hará automáticamente iniciando sesión otra vez.

How to disable your account. 

• Visit Instagram.com from a smartphone or computer. You can not disable the account using the Instagram application for Android, IOS, or Windows apps. Open your profile page and click “Edit Profile” to open the account settings page. Here I used the Google Chrome browser.
• Now choose a reason and enter your password and click on the red “temporarily disable account” button. You’ll be asked to confirm this action. You can select whatever reason, as Instagram needs that for simple feedback. Simply click ok to confirm.
• If you see this message, (you're about to temporarily disabled your account. Go ahead?). Click OK, it means your Instagram account is temporarily disabled, and other people cannot see your profile pictures. But those who already messaged you will still be able to drop messages, and you can read them after re-activating your account.

To disable your Instagram account, follow these steps:
