Congratulations!!! Having a newborn baby is such a blessing but if I have to be honest, it is also exhausting and overwhelming. You really do have to prepare not just for the things the baby would need, but also for the things you would need because you will definitely have very little time and energy for yourself.
Here is a list of everything you need for your baby. The essentials are all there; from clothing to bath items to baby furniture. But when it comes to brands of specific baby products, watch this video on baby must haves and this helpful baby product review.
Aside from preparing all of these, you also have to take time for yourself before the baby comes. Have a quiet alone time with yourself or your partner. Grab the opportunity of being able to do the things you love doing. This is not to scare you but it is to prepare you emotionally and mentally because having a baby is very fulfilling but also time consuming.
Interesting! We are so lucky to live in the age of plentiful choices when it comes to products. Unfortunately, sometimes it makes it overwhelming to choose what to purchase! Moms-to-be are often faced with the struggle of exactly which brand and model to get for their baby. There are so many categories of products to sift through that can take a lot of time. I'm taking the guesswork out of making that choice for you by sharing the best baby products of the year.
Every first-time mom has wondered what she really needs for the baby, and the items they should buy now before the baby comes. You don’t want to buy anything you’ll barely use once the baby arrives… but you also want to avoid not having an item once you finally get home (solo store runs with a crying baby are no fun).
So, here is a detailed list of each category below, but in general, your baby essentials for the first three months of your baby's life should include:
The list is not exhaustive you can check out more here; Newborn Essentials for Baby's First 6 Weeks.
Congrats in advance!
Congratulations on your upcoming arrival! Preparing for a newborn can feel overwhelming, but here are some essential products to consider purchasing before your baby arrives:
Diapers and wipes: Newborns go through a lot of diapers and wipes, so stock up on these essentials before your baby arrives.
Onesies and sleepers: Newborns typically spend most of their time sleeping, so you'll want to have plenty of comfortable, easy-to-wear onesies and sleepers on hand.
Swaddles and receiving blankets: Swaddling can help soothe newborns and help them sleep better. Purchase a few swaddles and receiving blankets to use for this purpose.
Baby carrier: A baby carrier can help you keep your baby close and hands-free. Look for one that provides proper support for your baby's head, neck, and back.
Infant car seat: You'll need an infant car seat to bring your baby home from the hospital and for any car rides afterward. Make sure to choose a car seat that is appropriate for your baby's weight and height.
Breastfeeding supplies (if applicable): If you plan to breastfeed, consider purchasing a breast pump, nursing bras, and ****** cream.
Baby bathtub: Bathing a newborn can be a bit tricky, so a baby bathtub can be helpful. Look for one that provides support for your baby's head and neck and is easy to clean.
Diaper bag: A diaper bag is a must-have for outings with your baby. Look for one with plenty of pockets and compartments to keep everything organized.
Baby monitor: A baby monitor can help you keep an eye (and ear) on your baby while they sleep. Look for one with video and audio capabilities.
Remember, every family's needs are different, so this list is just a starting point. Don't hesitate to ask for recommendations from friends and family or consult with a pediatrician or other trusted healthcare professional for advice. Good luck and enjoy this special time with your new little one!
