Although having a dandruff isn’t a serious medical condition, it can take a toll on our confidence. And if we have low self-esteem, it can easily lead to problems like depression and anxiety. That’s why it’s good to keep up a good appearance and have a dandruff-free life.

Dandruff cases vary depending on the person’s skin sensitivity. It is essential to know first what triggers it or why you have it. If you know the cause, then you can easily treat it. Judging by your post, you already know what kind of skin sensitivity you have, so you can take a look at this list of Dandruff Shampoos. What’s great about this list (aside from having other options other than head & shoulders) is that the people from healthline have tested these products and they have also researched the reviews and prices of those shampoo.

A lot of people are ashamed of dandruff and think it’s a reflection of poor hygiene, but that doesn’t have anything to do with it,” says Francesca Fusco, M.D., assistant clinical professor of dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital and board-certified dermatologist at Wexler Dermatology in New York City. It’s important to not be too hard on yourself while experiencing something like dandruff because it’s totally normal and even common.

Also, the dandruff condition arises “when there is inflammation mixed with yeast overgrowth on the scalp skin that results is an overgrowth and flaking off of the top layer of skin cells. Occasionally it can be helpful to use a prescription topical steroid solution or lotion, or sometimes a hair or scalp mask, which stays on the skin longer and may be more effective at treating and calming irritation than a regular dandruff shampoo.

So, if experiencing dandruff, ingredients are a top consideration. “Dry scalp would need hydration,” per Greenfield. “Shampoos that have oils and gentle cleansers would be ideal.” Dandruff would also benefit from a shampoo that is yeast-fighting like selenuim sulfide or pyrithione zinc. I hope you find the best solution in this video.

Use like a shampoo im scalp and rinse. After 2-3 applications dandruff will not be visible. Buttermilk eben makes hair soft.
