Make a schedule and stick to it as much as possible. This way, you will have a routine and know what to expect out of each and every day. You also won't accidentally schedule yourself to be in two places at once, thus helping your personal and professional lives to run more smoothly. I use a Happy Planner, but you can also use Outlook and Google calendars; they tend to be the most common ones.

Here is a link comparing the two.

Set boundaries and know how and when to say no. As human beings, we often prioritize other people's well-being and priorities over our own. We put their needs above ours, even at the sake of our own lives and health. We don't want to be viewed as selfish, especially in this society that places productivity on a pedestal. However, this often leads to burnout and resentment.

I recommended the book "Boundaries: When to Say Yes, How to Say No to Take Control of Your Life" by Dr. Henry Cloud, and Dr. John Townsend. It goes into detail about setting limits to strengthen relationships.

Combining work and personal life can be challenging, but with some effort and planning, it's possible to find a balance that works for you. Here are some tips to help you combine work and personal life:

Set boundaries: It's important to establish clear boundaries between your work and personal life. Set specific work hours and stick to them, and try to avoid checking work emails or taking work calls outside of those hours.

Prioritize: Make a list of your priorities, both in your personal life and at work. Determine which tasks are most important and focus your energy on those.

Manage your time effectively: Use your time wisely by planning ahead, setting deadlines, and breaking tasks down into manageable pieces. This will help you stay focused and avoid wasting time.

Be flexible: Recognize that sometimes work or personal obligations may require you to be flexible with your time. Be prepared to adjust your schedule as needed to accommodate unexpected events or changes.

Practice self-care: Taking care of yourself is important for both your personal and professional life. Make time for exercise, hobbies, and relaxation to help you recharge and reduce stress.

Communicate with your employer: If you're finding it difficult to balance work and personal life, talk to your employer about your concerns. They may be able to offer you flexible work arrangements, such as working from home or adjusting your schedule.

Remember that finding a balance between work and personal life is an ongoing process. Be patient with yourself and don't be afraid to make adjustments as needed. With some effort and planning, you can combine work and personal life in a way that works for you.
