Also, sports betting have only recently become legal on some states while fantasy sports have always been legal. Another difference between them is that fantasy sports is a game of skill while sports betting is a game of luck. Like on fantasy football, in order to win, you really do need to have knowledge regarding football and have to do some research on the players.

Regarding fantasy football, it is not the same thing as sports betting. Fantasy football involves creating a virtual team of real-life players and competing against other fantasy football teams based on the performance of those players in real-life games. It is a game of skill rather than chance, and is generally considered legal in most jurisdictions.
