When millennials retire, will social security still exist?
The oldest millennials won't be eligible for social security benefits until eight years after 2035, so despite their pessimism, social security may still be a significant source of income for them even if they may be losing out on benefits more than their parents or grandparents.
When Millennials retire, they will almost certainly continue to get Social Security payments, albeit they may not appear the same as they do today.
